All of this makes me sick to my stomach! Going after the growers of cherries to mute them is like going after Mother Nature herself! How dare they believe that they have the right to supress information that is the basis of humanity! It's basic human knowledge that fruits and vegetables are good for you and have healing properties! Why else would they be in the Bible (I'm not really a religous person but I know what I know). Dr. Jordan Rubin talks in his book The Makers Diet about what foods we can and cannot eat as listed in the Bible. I really don't remember, either by reading Rubin's book or actually reading the Bible that humans have to have certain milligrams of drugs in our bodies! We need to tell the politicians, government, Big Pharma...WE ARE MAD AS HE** and WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!

2117 is the wrong bill # the correct number is H. R. 4282 so if your writing in support for 2117 then you are supporting some tariff suspension bill, lol. Use the correct number if you want to support the health freedom protection act.

Thanks, Jeremy! Wasn't sure how to do this, so thanks for the link. It's time people woke up to the fact that the FDA is not in our best interest and has been bought off by big Pharma, and it's harming people and no one seems to be doing anything about them. This just breaks my heart!

Isn't it plagiarism or a copyright violation to use material without giving the author (Bill Sardi) proper credit? Lifting like this is embarrassing to natural health movement. This just creates another excuse for conventional medicine to ignore us.

Perhaps a better question is: who is who in the US Congress?

Is your congress being paid off by the drug industry with contributions to re-election campaigns and lobbying?

The only way to answer those questions is by the fruits of their labors.

When it comes to the FDA, how will they vote on the bill? It might do good to take a head count when it comes up for a vote, if it ever gets that far...

any company that sells supplements, "including yours truly" that is perhaps the most important phrase of the article. be wary of comments by anyone selling you something, and that includes Dr. Mercola.

Is this such a surprising development?

Many of the most successful drugs are actually herbal extracts (e.g. Aspirin, Digitalis, Ginkgo Biloba, etc) or are derivatives of naturally occuring products (e.g. in the birth control pill, steroids, anticancer drugs, etc), or are nutritional supplements intended to augment the body's natural levels (Insulin, Thyroxine, Iron, etc).

Around 10-15 years ago it was estimated that 50% of the drugs used had natural origins.

Look folks what does the FDA, FTC and Pharmacies have in common? Their all in it for the ($$$) money! Physicians really don't know how to cure the ailments, they just experiment drugs on people. If a type of drug doesn't work, they'll try another one and so on. Even on TV, they advertise DRUGS! If you can't get it from your doctor go to another one.
Where as some certain supplements have cured health problems! And by using dietary supplements you'd be taking money away from the FDA and etc.

Now let's get real for a moment:
When God created this planet we live on many, many years ago, He didn't put all these trees, weeds and flowers on it for nothing! He put them on here for us to use to if we had heath issues to deal with and to cure them naturally. But the FDA doesn't want you to know that. But as I speak there are some Physicians in this country that are turning to dietary supplements for their patients, because they themselves have seen that drugs aren't the answer.
Please, the general public needs to be aware of this, so pass it along.
Dietary supplements are better for your health than drugs!

Write, email and/or phone your Representative and Senator and tell them to pass this bill.
