You know, I have to create a public image of myself to get a vote. I guess that would fall under the category of the outcome bias. But for the ones that do have the tendency to judge and the ability to see what was, and the ability to see just exactly what is trying to be created now, they would ask--why do you have to create a new image of yourself--are you afraid we won't like the old one!

re: 26 Reasons Why You are Biased

Perception is a dangerous thing, use it wisely. Zambini

--An e-mail sig for years, brought about by frustration with having to intuitively address others perceptions in my day to day conversations. Every second we are bombarded with an incredible amount of information. In order for us to process it, our nervous system deletes, distorts and generalizes information.

The filtration process based on our values, beliefs, attitudes, memories, decisions and language.

If we change the filters, we change our perception of the world and therefore our reality. Cool stuff.

I would highly recommend Christopher Howard's "Breakthrough to Success" weekend.
