This is simple, but brilliant!!! A good life is about being in balance in all areas. It's good to hear people are rethinking the pace that we are living. Perhaps the pendullum is slowly swinging the other way.

I thought the articles and all of the comments are very-very interesting. I do believe it will give me something different to think on. I will have to have another session with the guy in the mirror before I comment on this one.

I am having trouble watching the videos. It plays-stops-plays-stops. Do i have to have a certian program in my computer, or download something else? I have the java, the shock wave thing and the micro media thing. Can any of you guys guide me?

I had always felt the super high-speed life in Tokyo to be dangerous. We had the world's finest resources at hand and by interacting with people we could accomplish so much, yet I couldn't help notice that my and my colleagues' efforts would produce only the smallest budge if anything in the direction of global politics that is bringing us down. Meanwhile we wasted reams and reams of paper trying to please bureaucrats who, for example, for inexplicable reasons took a whim to remove "the" from a title of a publication. When I became electrosensitive and had to start avoiding places like central Tokyo, rather than lamenting my "disability" I chose to consider it a blessing. God's way of finally getting me out of Tokyo, and also God's way of opening my eyes to the realities of global cash flow! My husband and I live a rural existence, we grow our own vegetables and give the extras to our friends in Tokyo. We are able to follow most of Dr. Mercola's advice. I have time to sit and pray every morning and time to write novels. None of my friends in Tokyo have these luxuries! We rent a farmhouse for $150 a month. Rats come extra.

Unfortunately, it often takes a crisis, such as a heart attack, or the death or suicide of a loved one, to make a person stop and consider what is really important. Time is truly our most valuable resource, not our money, our power, or our popularity. Even holidays, which should be times of relaxation and rejuvenation can be stress-inducing due to overscheduling.

Slow food tastes great.

It takes time to make good wine.

Will the world collapse if I take a 2 hour Siesta?

To each their own, in good time.

No one on their death bed ever wishes they had spent an extra hour at the office.

If you find a nickel, save some, and don't forget buy a flower.

Your most finite asset is your time.
