You forgot to mension that mercury in silver fillings is safe. Chewing releases the mercury and breathing on a baby after eating isnt recomended. My symtoms are not remembering anything my wife said. She doesnt belive anything I read to her on Mercola, so I guess we're even.

Money, money, money. So what if some people are harmed Monsanto will get a return on the investments they have made. At the same time, this will give a monolopy to those who want to have such over the seeds we as home gardeners, or farmers use. You know one source seeds, because the rendered plants from these seeds do not in turn produced seeds. On the other hand who would want these seeds in the first place?

Join a local organic co-op, this would be far safer than what Monsanto wants to push on us.

It seems Monsanto has a lot of clout. The GMO does not process though the body correctly and should not be tolerated.

Consider the complaints on Chinese foods shipped here. With how they care about their citizens, why would you think they care about you?

We should be shipping ALL Monsantos' output to them!

Gm tests have been conducted in the UK in restricted; open to the air areas.

But it seems until recenlty, those so called experts did not tell the public that bees and insects and birds could carry the GM product outside of these areas and so contaminate other areas.

The UK is already in a complete mess with a population that is obese, living on fast saturated foods and all we need now is GM to add to the recipe to create a situation of no turning back.

There is also the question of Genetics, future generations who will, no doubt, suffer the consequencies of such meddling with nature.

Recently in the UK, Daily Mail newspaper, GM tests have been conducted on Rats and found to have caused intestinal cancer amongst other things.

They are messing about with nature and the long term consequencies do not bear thinking about.

The name Monsanto keeps cropping up.................it's all about greed and making lots of money at the expense of the consumer.

I have personally spoken to several people who are world wide travelers. They all report that whatever foods they are allergic or sensitive to here in the U.S., is ok to eat in Europe. One of these people is my Daughter's Pediatrician. She is from Nigeria and has family in several other Countries. Her two sons are allergic to wheat, dairy, soy, and corn, to name the major offenders. She said that when the travel outside the U.S., they can eat whatever they like with no ill effects....gee, can it be that GMO foods that are banned over there????

Please.... people who are still protected from this horrible stuff...fight to keep GM foods out of Europe while you still can. Tell your governments not to be bullied by anybody! Monsanto needs to take a dive, deep into the very soil it is harming!!!!

The founders of our country are probably turning over in their graves, not only on the issues of food causing them to rummble, but every possible dream these great men and probably women, had in store for our new world. USA is only 250 years old and like the Roman Empire, we too will tumble down. What will remain is, Asia, Europe, not sure about Britian, but that country has been around for a long time, Africa, and other such countries. We here in the USA are recking havic with our planet and trying to take the rest of the world with us.

For thoughs of us in the alternative life-style can see what is happening and it is a devastating experience to witness the last fall of this United States.

BUT, we still have some time left. There are many wonderful people across the world working to save all of us. You and I are getting the word out, others have other ways of working. I have lots of positive feelings that this mess will be resolved. Nice feeling.

Check with your local library and borrow "The Future of Food" DVD documentary on GM crops, Monsanto and connection between the gov and chemical/pharma companies...........

The so-called scientific evidence that declares the GMO products are safe seems to come from the same type of evidence that has the public believing that flouride is not only safe but beneficial to one's health. This is a myth that has been foisted upon the minds of so many people and has contributed to so much ill health. Anything that can be done to stop this corruption of the food supply must become a priority. I have often thought that it might be nice to live in a country that did not allow "frankenfoods!"

GMO is madness! People need to know, and have the right to know, what they are putting into their, and by extension their families', bodies. Imagine a peanut allergy being triggered by a bite into a tomato, as an example.

Money, Money, Money! Sorry, but I live in the UK, which unfortunately is part of the EU and have had to deal with an increasing amount of red tape and junk as a small scale farm, all originating in the EU, and boosted by our very own Tony Blair!

I live in a very rural area, about 50 times more sheep than people, but one thing I know, people here do NOT want GMO's. It seems strange that the EU cannot decide for itself what it will allow in it's own territory, or can, but wants to tell us that they can't, because as usual money is involved. Over here there is a growing number of multi million backhanders making it into the news. The surprising thing is that they allseem to vanish very quickly. I wonder why? <ore money changing hands perhaps? Or is that too sceptical.
