They maintain scrupulous cleanliness or heads will roll.
Fast food restaurants [all of them] are sewers, their cookers are almost all contaminated with OLD food remains and grease. It would make a junk yard dog puke.
Their food storage areas are highly questionable and the freezers dont always freeze well enough to keep food from defrosting.
The kitchen help has turned to minorities and illegal aliens and they have never seen or experienced sanitary conditions and DO NOT practice them either. A fast food joint is a good place to kill someone just by feeding them there.

There are plenty of alternatives that serve decent food at competetive prices and wont make you sick.

My son used to pester me to go to McD all the time, till I told him the burgers were made from billy goats. As earlier Mercola articles have revealed for instance "McDonald's Chicken McNuggets," you know that mystery chopped meat formed into finger food many of our children find irresistable. Made mainly from laying hens too old to lay any more. Frozen, then stored in a warehouse somewhere, for who knows how long, before being served to McDonald's customers. To say this food has nutrition, is to say my bicycle is cable of going to the moon, under it's own power. What a joke.

So McDonald's has been very crafty, appeal to the children and Mom, and Pop will follow. Of course the Fool's Drug Administration will side with Big Business, and not enough of us will mount a challenge to what ever McDonald's says about it's food. They say, very much like the Tobbaco Industry used to say, "You Cannot Prove Your Claim." It is and always will be about MONEY. Not about bad health, or the human beings effected.

re: McDonald's Tries to Convince Moms That its Food is Nutritious

When my husband & The only "chain" store is Subway, and that opened less than a year ago. We own Super Size Me, which happens to be both of my daughter's favorite movies. Yes, the language is prevalent, but the over all moral is fantastic. I can thank Mercola for that one!
Sadly, there are so many folks out there who aren't willing or able to take the time to train their young one's how to eat and cook properly. Maybe they don't possess the know how or confidence to give it a try, but it is well worth it. One tidbit I will pass along is you are never too young to keep learning something new. Did I grow up knowing how to garden or cook? No, however I felt it important to return to our ancestor's ways and haven't been disappointed since. God bless you all. You might want to check out a book by Rex Russell: What the bible says about healthy living. Fantastic read.

re: McDonald's Tries to Convince Moms That its Food is Nutritious

I once worked behind the scenes at a fast food burger restaurant (not McDonalds, but another famous franchise chain), and I saw what went on there. It got so that even after I quit working there, it was a year before I could eat another hamburger. Beef patty juices were everwhere. I came home covered from head to toe with it, pickle juice, mayo, and the works. I was a walking hamburger. I am now a vegetarian after having worked there and after having later on worked at a processed fish factory that stunk of processed fish goo to high heaven, stuff that was made into seafood gooey stuff for a fast-food sandwich chain's seafood submarine sandwiches. I often cleaned out huge vats of pureed fish goo and assembly-line equiptment covered in fish goo with a lab coat, heavy thick rubber boots over my shoes, a hair net, thick long work gloves that went almost up to my elbows, safety googles, and lots of caustic chemicals. You can't get me anywhere even remotely near that stuff now that fast food joints call food. If McDonalds is any bit like the burger place and fish factory where I worked, I want nothing whatsoever to do with that place. I wouldn't even let a dog eat there. And, after all I have experienced and seen with my own eyes, you really can't blame me for going organic vegetarian. I have only one word for all this: Yuck!

re: McDonald's Tries to Convince Moms That its Food is Nutritious

Oddly, I saw on Fit TV Dr. Barry Sears, the author of The Zone Diet, which promotes a healthful diet, created the "Go Active" part of McDonalds. I find that sad, and ironic.

re: McDonald's Tries to Convince Moms That its Food is Nutritious

First that I must say is Mc Donalds is a danger for our health.
I am a physician for years, in my country (Serbia, Europe) fast food is very popular especially for children and adolescence.
