Our children should only eat foods that match their systems and produce excellent health. Shame on all process foods. Lots of super foods, no sugar, no or little grains , etc.

They are still growing and need to have the right stuff to stay alert. all the others) and I know for a fact that most of the formulas are not going to be changed for Kellogs...that would be far too expensive. I would opt to think that the boxes are going to get make-overs as this would seem to be the most cost effective avenue. I remember about 10 years ago I had sent an email to the CEO of Kraft (who no longer works there) and requested a line of products be considered that were soy and "high allergen" free to market to the large community that has food allergies. You can see that 10 years later they have started doing this a bit...at the time I was told that there isn't a large enough customer base to even consider this. The "tried and true" products will remain the same...they may develop new ones to market a more healthy stance. Though, this is just my personal experience with the world's 2nd largest food manufacturer.

re: Kellogg Gets the Message and Changes Its Own

Kinda reminds me of the Philip Morris 'how to stop smoking' ads you see on TV.

re: Kellogg Gets the Message and Changes Its Own

I think we should accept this as a baby step in the right direction. & artificial sugar laden, acrylamide (cancer causing), hydrogenated & trans fat, breakfast cereals & granola bar in the last 20, or so, years, to more functional/healthier products, like the Truly Delicious & Absolutely Nutritious(TM) Dr. Mercola's Cocoa Cassava Bars, or other energy & functional brands.

Kellogg, despite claiming they will not target children, is merely shifting to infuencing mothers, who make the purchase decisions, & therefore deceptive in claim.

Kellogg will continue to use a totally phony, & a heavliy lobbied for definition of "whole grain", which is nutritionally dumb downed, and refined, and in some cases GMO, in their massive processing of cereal and bars.

Kellogg will continue to use train load tankers worth of High Fructose Corn Syrup, the cheapest bulking ingredient in the food & beverage chain, after air, water & salt, that automatically converts to fat (adipose tissue) & tryglycerides (leading to LDL Cholesterol formation, hypoglycemia, insulin resistance, cardio vascualr disease, cancer, obesity).

Kellogg will continue to use more AIR, to PUFF up the volume of their cerals/bars to try to make reduced calories claims.

Kellogg will continue to try to hoist fortification of vitamins & minerals on unsuspecting consumers that is not bioavaialble for health benefit.

Kellogg will continue to try to bind more water in brands through the use of highly artificial/chemically refined or derived modified straches, gums, hyrocollois, emulsifiers, preservatives, stabilizers, gas flushing, & very cancer causing, at tiny ingestion levels, fake colorings or artificial flavorings.

A snake may she it's skin, but it still bites!
