I've been a professional cleaner for over eighteen years. Sorry, most of these cleaning uses are bogus. I haven't tried the aluminum foil trick on rusted chrome yet, but there isn't enough phosphoric acid in Coke to make it useful for cleaning. And one wouldn't want to use strong acids anyway without adequate ventilation. My advice is to not waste your money on it. There are much better alternatives. Why would you want to support companies that produce such worthless products?

re: Finally Something You Can Do With Soda

How about a full unopened can of Coke, dropped from a Halo Jumper, at 30,000 feet, fitted with laser range finder, and DOD GPS, targeting Osama Bin Laden's head, at terminal velocity...?

Maybe with a nice little note in classic Arabic script saying "Osama, Coke, It's The Real Thing! Love & Kisses, Allah"
