My husband has been found to have 99.8% anti sperm antibodies, a condition for which there is no apparent explanation amongst the list of possible causes apart from possibly exposure to chemical cleaners. If anyone knows of any cure I'd be grateful as I have searched extensively

In addition to these chemicals, all the xenohormones in beauty products such as body lotions, shampoos, etc also effect fertility. You have to look for the ingredient PEG-(a number) and that is a hormone. I have done a lot of hormone testing on my fertility clients and beauty products that have these xenohormones can really effect fertility and up progesterone levels.

If you noticed my comment on your recent post on insulin and obesity I suggested that "toxins", I call them "thorns" in the diet is responsible for obesity. Even though I did not say it, these "toxins" or "thorns" are responsible for diabetes.

what i want to know is.... that chemical fertilizers are touted as being more economical than organic. But if they strip the soil and the soil requires more and more every year.... eventually doesn't organic win out.. not only from a health and environment standpoint but from an economical one?

I have read that Urine is one of the greatest possible untapped resources of mankind. It is loaded with nitrogen... in essence it is the perfect fertilizer. Yet if you use it , then you can not label something organic.

Sometimes i feel the desire to start my own country and make my own laws. For a start urine fertilized produced would definitely be considered organic / superior to chemical crud. Raw milk would be legal.

I can't recommend enough the book mentioned in the article, Our Stolen Future. It explains in great detail how these chemicals do their dirty work, and why science tends to focus on the subject of fertility, rather than the overarching problem of endocrine disruption.

For those who can't get their hands on the book, feel free to check out the website http://ourstolenfuture.org/ .

I have to admit that I was overwhelmed by the information presented in both the book and on the website, so don't try to digest it all at once. Needless to say, once you read the information presented, you'll find that Global Warming is the least of our environmental problems.

I have a great fertility story -- has a happy ending.

My son and his first wife tried unsuccessfully to have a child. Turns out his sperm count was low with little motility. That relationship broke up partly over that and he moved back home, demoralized and very down. I eat grass fed beef, organic fruits, veggies and dairy. I buy non fluoride children's toothpaste and have a great water filtration system in my home.

He met a really nice girl and started dating again at last. They were pretty serious. One day I came home from work and they were both there. I knew without them saying a word, she was pregnant. Hee hee!

They got married, had a fanstastic little girl, who will be four this month. Whaddaya know? Organic cure for infertility. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you are sterile. Or, at least, don't bet the farm on it.

Thank you for this, Dr. Mercola. I was wondering--all those horrible psychiatric drugs I took for nearly ten years, will they have caused any permanent damage to my reproductive system? Will I be able to have a healthy child? Or will the genes in my ova be damaged from all those toxins? Psychiatry is social Darwinism, and worse. I am afraid to have a child, even though I am very healthy now, and I eat all organic and free range and avoid plastics and all drugs, and don't consume toxins to my knowledge, except fluoride in my water.

Does anyone know anything about this? Do pharmaceutical drugs cause birth defects years after the mother quits taking them? In other words, do they cause permanent genetic damage? Please let me know.
