the FDA mandatory pasteurization of almonds will start in sept. 2007...theres an online petition which i signed and passed along. to date there are only a little over 15,000 sigs..not nearly enough to have an inpact on the almond industory..

It's a way for the Government to control the population of the United States form becoming over populated such as China. The strong survive while the weak will die and disappear. It's the cycle of life and I think the almighty God has a hand in this Endeavor. How long is life supposed to last? When it's your time, it's your time. If you know the good you aught to do then your health education teaches you to keep your temple a temple and non toxic environment. It's a choice we all make. I still go to McDonald's from time to time but not as a health practice more than 3X a week. Maybe once or twice a month. The people on the street need to eat and the dollar menu does fill them with food. It's all relative. Thank you for letting me share. Keeping away from the Pharma Syndrome is a personal choice and sometimes not. I've seen the medical industry prolong life in my family and is a lat resort to prolong life. Dr.Mercola, for someone who I think claims to be libertarian, you sure sound like your focusing on the same old liberal anti-big business mantra. The problem is not big business or even the government, its the people--themselves. The FDA does not make people choose McDonalds over fresh healthy food or being a couch potato over exercising or doing drugs instead of doing EFT (or the like). Again, it sounds like just more Michael Moore distractions--when what Michael Moore should focus on is his enormous gut and stop lecturing the rest of us who actually are healthy. You are dong more harm than good with this.

I know I have said this before and I don’t want to sound like a broken record but this is just more proof that the FDA has left us with a Tyrannical Government! (If it can not be backed down by the people with our votes Then that is proof) So what is our constitutional recommendation for such a tyranny?.........

Well, I am not suggesting violence (Who me?) but read your American Constitution, you will find it all laid out in the 2 ^nd amendment.

Also “Heaven knows as a Christian I am not allowed to protect my country with any form of violence” or so say a few very misguided people! I have turned the other cheek 489 times, when it gets to 490 (7x70) as Jesus said, Then I have done all I can!

You know what, I think it is closer to 491 times I have turned the other cheek! Sorry to sound so radical! I am realy a peace loving guy! But nothing ticks ne off more then the FDA!

The Law is for those outside of government and Congress.

Congress works for lobbyists, not the nation, citizens and taxpayers.

Okay guys, first of all, if you don't get to see it again, I apologized on my other comment on the FDA article yesterday if I offended anyone with my choice of words and runaway ill temper. It is certainly not my intentions to do this here on V V. I guess I had such a hormone rush at the spur of the moment I couldn't help myself. Thanks to Herb Doc for coming to my aid on the matter, because his comment made me look a long time at mine and see why I should have not said what I did here on V V for you decent people to see.

Although some within the FDA (in my opinion) has absolutly no moral code of ethics about them at all on certain matters by allowing proven dangerious products on the market, and as Dr. M. states here--break the law--(in my opinion) does not deserve to live in a free society where many people rely on them for true information and the safety of what we consume. Our representatives shoud see to it that those that are responsible shoud be held accountable.

But I tend to think that our voice will be heard loud and clear until one day, that whole mess of a small group of people that illigally particapates in the harming of others, will be cleaned up and punished for their crimes against humanity.

Forgive me if I have put a sad frown on your happy face instead of the happy smile we all want.
