Remember that there is no profit in herbal extracts for drug companies. Naturally occurring substances can not be patented. They must first find the specific active chemical, assuming there is only one, and then make a non natural analog (chemical variation that has similar structure and properties but does not exist in nature).

Will herbal extracts (non profit for drug companies) make it into our health care system? What a crazy system we do have.
