I am a 67 year old woman. I have been taking hormones for 20 years or so. First I was given the drugs, Premarin being the last one. They did not agree with me and I was at the end of my rope when I found bio-identical hormones. I have been taking them about 5 years now, and they have made all the difference in the energy that I have. I still run my own business, work 10 - 12 hours a day, and take care of a handicapped husband. I resent the FDA trying to deprive me of my opportunity to remain well and active as long as I can. FDA, Please do not remove bio-identical hormones from the market. You would be signing my death warrant. signed leedunk

I'm so sick of the FDA and government getting in our "personal" buisness! Since when can't ADULTS decide for themselves! I don't understand why we as a people continue to allow them to get away with this. It's time to stand up for OUR RIGHTS! Time for us as a people to be heard!
What is it that we 'need' to do to be heard? Protest, write letters, get on talk shows, pay for tv commercials, stand in front of congress, what?

Who are they to tell me that if I want any relief from menopause that the only thing I can take is pregnant HORSE PISS!!! I mean really, where does it all end.

I'm just so frustrated with it all. Thanks for letting me vent :)

Further HARD evidence of Big Pharma K Street Lobbyist protection where their pay checks come from via manipulation in Congress (house and senate and both sides of the isles) to force FDA to to this.

And we thought the FDA was stupid in its attack on raw milk and raw unadulterated almonds!!

Maybe they will target filtered water next. I suspect we need to spend lots of research dollars to prooooove that filtered water is safe to drink.----
