At what point does the side effects of a drug warrent the product being pulled from the market? That seems to be the endless debate, especially since there is so little education out there regarding the true risks of taking any drug. I know woman (too many I'm afraid) that go on "the pill" and stay on it like it's a part of life (like they're taking their daily vitamin). Whether they have a partner or not!!! These aren't dumb women (although you could argue that point). This concept/belief that side effects are rare has to be dispelled!

All forms of birth control, other than withdrawl or abstinence IS VERY VERY DANGEROUS!
