According to the Chicago Tribune, the White House is attempting to force famine stricken countries, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa, to plant genetically engineered (GE) crops, as part of a $770 million aid package. Untested and largely unregulated GE crops are controversial, not only in Europe and other industrialized countries, but in the developing world as well. At least 40 countries around the world have restricted GE farming and ingredients in foods by requiring mandatory labeling, while a number of nations and regions have banned genetically modified organisms in agriculture altogether. Beyond health and environmental concerns, and contrary to industry propaganda, GE crops do not significantly increase yields, but rather force farmers to stop saving their seeds and instead buy toxic chemicals and highly priced patented seeds from biotech companies such as Monsanto, Syngenta, Bayer, Dupont, Dow,'s and BASF. Hmmm..where have I heard that before?

Prediction: The company name "Monsanto" will probably disappear in the next few years when all these environmental disasters come to true light. Yet the wolf will change its clothing but live on....

For those who may remember that other 'famous' company "Union Carbide" - that company changed its name in 1985 after the Bhopal disaster in India the year earlier. The name changed - but the company still lived on - along with the legacies of other environmental contaminations elsewhere in the world...

what is up with the people who own, operate, and work for these companies.. esp the ones hiding information .. are they not human... that they dont worry about what they are doing to assist in the demise of human and environmental health... and then there are the lawyers who defend them...i just dont get it no $$$ figure could ever get me to "sell my soul" like that... i guess some people just dont care in which case i cant imagine what the people who rasied them were like.. not to mention who they are raising....

The fact that CODEX and the UN are working with monsanto for mandates should prove that they are not trust worthy..

Everybody talks the talk the only way you can find out who is telling the truth and who you can trust is by looking at the fruits of their labor.. What have they done?

My husband's grandmother retired with Pfizer after many years. She is 93. Each month, she receives various paraphernalia from Pfizer including a monthly newsletter. In this newsletter, they talk about Monsanto's earnings, growth, etc like they do their own. Are Pfizer and Monsanto in "ka-hoots" and no one knows about it?
