i have noticed that many conventional foods are rising in price much faster than my organic local stuff--maybe because of oil prices? I am so glad our farmers market is in full swing now--I just got some wonderful stuff this AM and had great food today--so much easier inthe summer for those of us in cold climates!

Good quality food often costs more money. But good quality food is better for health and what better investment is there than your health and your family's health?

I recently took some photos at a farmersmarket here in the Austin area. I think they are the best place to buy local and good quality foods. Most of the vegetables are fresh and organic and most of the meats and dairy are from pastured animals and the processed meats are free of nitrites and MSG.

Organic food at "higher" prices = Better health and enviroment

"Conventional" foods at "lower" prices = worse health and enviroment

worse health = Big Pharma cashing in

worse enviroment = higher taxes

Why can't they just open their eyes and see the truth?...

...oh yeah, because they are making money off of it, while killing so many things in the proccess...

What a shame!
