They found that commonly touched areas, such as refrigerator doors and handles, were positive for cold germs about 40 percent of the time. Absolutely nothing!
The Germ Theory is completely wrong. If introduced to a germ automatically led to a disease, then every person in the world would be constantly sick. What leads to infections are a inefficient nervous system. When we have proper nervous system efficiency, our immune system is almost unstopable. When we are inefficient we do not have enough energy in the brain to run all programs. The immune system sometimes get the shaft of that deal. What is more imortant now, maintaining oxygen levels or making T-killer cells? I am from MN, and was always told to not go outside without proper clothing or I would catch a cold. There is no way that a virus can survive in cold weather. If I did get a cold, it was not because I was introduced to a cold virus in -5 degree weather, the virus was inside of me, held at bay untill I had to spend too much energy to warm up that the virus could propogate. The germs will always be there, we just need to keep up our nervous systems to keep them at bay.

For more information on energy efficient nervous systems, go to www.drfredclarydc.com and look at the blog.

re: Doorknobs and TV Remotes are Germ Hotbeds

I agree with Sheila C and rablpn. Please concern yourself more with promoting a healthy immune system. Yes, clean surfaces in your home within reason, but don't let fear of germs rule your life. If others in your immediate sphere are suffering from something communicable, start by eating right, getting enough rest and reasonable exercise. Focus on health.

re: Doorknobs and TV Remotes are Germ Hotbeds

I knew a mom who would never bring her daughter to the moms and tots organization we started. She didn't want her kid to play with the same toys as the other snot nosed brats. When her daughter started kindergarten, she was sick all the time because she had never been exposed to these germs before.

re: Doorknobs and TV Remotes Are Germ Hotbeds

Stop with the germophobia already!!!
Microorganisms are EVERYWHERE!! We would die without them. Stop worrying about how many you're coming in contact with and focus on keeping yourself healthy.
