The pain has never returned. It definitely &lt;em&gt;was &lt;/em&gt;arthritis, as the doc sent me for an x-ray to be sure (this was some years ago).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;His view was 'it's not advanced enough to need treatment yet'.
