When you think about it, there are many civilizations that live on eating different varieties of bugs, etc. They are some of the healthiest people in the world. Even though it seems gross to think about eating bugs, all we have managed to do by eating man-made foods is to set ourselves up for bad health, chronic illnesses and possibly a shortened life span.

Better from insects than from coal-tar. Although being from natural sources isn't always better. Do you remember Red Dye #4? It was from the amaranth plant and it was banned in the '70's. Probably the best thing is no added color at all.

Bottom Line: Advertisers will do anything to make consumers think that the processed foods and drinks are"natural" because they supposedly came from an 'organic' source...its a labelling deception....

...however having said that...most people who are food sensitive, or who have children who are food sensitive are already wise to this and will take the proper precautions to avoid anything with a label or package...

...hmmm....makes me think about my 'natural' yogurt grocery incident not to long ago when the saleperson told me it was 'all natural' which I discovered shortly thereafter as labeled to contain sucralose poison...

Makeup is also made from bugs. The "blue" color in many eyeshadows is made from a bug in South America.
