How about cleaning up legislation and enforcement regarding agriculture, like spreading CAFO waste, and sewage on farm fields (and they wonder how we get salmonella???)? How about stopping the factory farms? Hopefully some of these issues will at least be considered in these new rules. And why do eggs have to be refrigerated? When was it ever proven that refrigerating them is somehow beneficial? I believe I read that keeping them at room temperature protects the nutrients. I always keep mine on the countertop, and they usually keep for weeks. Maybe even longer than in the refrigerator!
