Call me pessimistic, but I'm pretty sure that india is heading for self-destruction as it rapidly industrialises itself by destroying Nature. 

And fyi, all produce (fruits, vegetables, etc) are grown with massive amounts of pesticides &amp; fertilizers, plus the vegetables are artificially adulterated to make them look more green; while all fruit is artificially ripened (eg. bananas with calcium carbide)
