Apparently, the jury's still out on most GM crops and biotech foods, according to the fifth annual

re: Do Americans Really Care About GM and Cloned Foods?

I haven't watched "the future of food," but I'm really not alarmed by
GM foods. It seems like people are setting off a huge alarm in advance
of any serious problems. GM foods may not be the "natural" course of
evolution, but so what? Neither is corn on the cob. Why is there a
furor over GM corn, for example, when edible corn was bred by humans to
begin with? It's an illustration of the silliness of the
movement, IMHO.
Even those "vegetarians" who yell at you for eating meat and other animal products, they sit there as they are telling you how horrible meat is, eating GMO soy. Go figure.

I have been on a no high fructose corn syrup diet for well over a year and I proud to say that it has made a huge difference. That corn syrup is GM too and people drink it down in soda everyday.
Europe got it correct, and BANNED GMO, and American industrial food ingredient suppliers lost hundreds of millions of dollars in market share in the EU over it.

One major American petro-chemical company recently announced they were getting out of the GMO business, targeting the American food chain...maybe they know something you have not been told? Like the stuff is poison and they do not want the legal liability.

The only way to make industry, or the FDA, listen, is to vote with your wallets and protect your own health.

DEMAND your retail providers of package foods designate if the product has genetically modified anything in it!

The food and beverage industry listens to their bottom line on a balance sheet and little else.
