I travelled around in Siberia on several occasions about 15 years ago. Irkutsk was my home base. Many of the roads were as bad as the one pictured here. The Russians seemed to take it in their stride (like so much else). I can't recall if I was on this particular road, but I could have been. I could tell ya stories......LOL

There is nothing wrong with that Siberian road. It is unpaved road in 1500 feet deep permafrost 1.2 million square mile northern territory and not intended to be used when melted.

That place is where most Russian diamonds, fossils and oil come from. Most of the supply comes by air and by ships. 225 thousand people live above Arctic circle in city of Yakutsk.

Whoever did that rating is just a dumbass

An we complain about back ups on our highways. I don't recall of hearing about a 60mile (100km) line up any time recently.

I was on a road like the one in Bolivia but in the Peruvian Andes, my wife was screaming the whole way up. It led to what I call a habited "forgotten town", something out of Inca times. If you're into archeology you can really appreciate it. Awesome stuff!

These nightmare commutes make the I-15 corridor look like a utopian dream, even at its rush-hour worst.
