My 4 youngest children, out of 7, are completely unvaccinated. When I chose to enroll them in public school, I researched and learned that under no circumstance can anyone be forced to be vaccinated, even in the military or when traveling. My oldest daughter, now 23, did the research herself when enrolling in college in another state (Illinois), and chose to take the exemptions. Interestingly, there was a mumps outbreak at her school, and she did not get it! I am a registered nurse, but don't buy into the propaganda! My younger children, now all teens, have always been extremely healthy...I encourage everyone to do the research, and don't allow your children, or yourself, to be injected with toxins!

Imagine you have been informing hundreds of millions of people of a course of action that was later determined to be unsafe, how do you admit later you were wrong. YOU CAN"T...YOU WON"T...YOU DON"T for obvious reasons. That explains the CDC, AMA etc. conduct in the face of overwhelming science. They have to be very careful not to admit fault and move at a glacial pace to change course without looking like their position was faulty and caused injury to millions.

My son is now almost 3 yrs. old, and he had shots up until 4 months, after which time I came across an article in Mothering magazine about the vaccine-autism link. Horrified, I refused to allow my son to have any more shots. Since then, I have encountered both understanding and non-understanding doctors and nurses at his well child exams. No matter what they say to persuade me I always tell them I respect their opinions but have done enough research to have formed a very solid opinion of my own that will not be changed. And then the matter is dropped. Parents, don't listen to what everyone thinks they know about the laws concerning vaccines and school-- find out for yourself, download your state's information and keep it with you! When the secretary at the Health dept. told me I needed a doctor's note excusing my child for vaccinations in order to receive a waiver, she was surprised when I read her information off the state's website refuting that fact. In Florida, you are allowed different exemptions, and you don't have to provide ANY church/doctor documentation. Your child cannot be discriminated against by keeping him out of school simply bc he doesn't have his shots. Hurray for that, at least here in Florida!

HI ALL The concept of risk associated with prevention is quite different from
the concept of risk associated with a cure. my little girl is now 16 month
and i did not give her any shots.Vaccines are a business based on fear!
The facts actually show that the childhood diseases all declined before the vaccines were widely distributed.

"AUSTIN (AP) -- Gov. Rick Perry ordered Friday that schoolgirls in Texas must be vaccinated against the sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer, making Texas the first state to require the shots.

"The girls will have to get Merck & Co.'s new vaccine ..."

Merck is bankrolling efforts to pass laws in state legislatures across the country mandating it Gardasil vaccine for girls as young as 11 or 12. It doubled its lobbying budget in Texas and has funneled money through Women in Government, an advocacy group made up of female state legislators around the country."

My 2 1/2 year old has received all vaccines, my 1 year old only received his 2 & 4 month shots & then we stopped. We are seeing a naturopathic doctor & are going to give the baby homepathic vaccinations (oral drops). We signed the big guy up for preschool today & were told that vaccines must be up to date, if not we need to provide a letter from a lawyer. It is a small school, but, there are a few families that are not vaccinating, which is great.
Friends and family are wonderful at making us feel guilty about not vaccinating, and at times we even question ourselves.
The dangers need to be more publicized. Good luck to all you parents, we all know that this is one of the most difficult decisions to make.

Hello all,

I am a just discovering these issues surrounding childhood vaccines. I have two toddlers, and am appalled and, quite frankly, feeling very betrayed right now.

I have been researching and reading, and I understand all of these concerns about the safety of vaccines, especially for newborns and infants. Perhaps there is someone who could help me with some questions, however.

I understand and completely agree that our children are in danger when taking these vaccines, especially from the additives included in the shot. But are there certain ones, like polio, for example, that would still be considered a benefit? Are there any that would be considered necessary?

What are the different benefits between not taking ANY vaccines vs receiving only a select few? I am interested in exploring this issue further, and any links or other information would be appreciated.

All I can say is that these people may be getting away with what they are doing right now, but I hope they realize that there is higher judgement awaiting them--one who has no tolerance for harming our little ones.

Common Sense and Luck also can be counted as forms of education, and yes, less is more when consuming ANY pharmaceutical OTC or prescription product. Caveat Emptor!

Unfortunately not being as informed as I am today about this issue, both my daughters received shots as infants and young children. My 10 year old received her last shots at 4 years of age. My 5 year old did not enter public school this year because it was mandatory that she receive vaccinations. She also received shots through 2 year of age. My oldest will be required at 12 years of age to get more shots, but it will not happen. They either will not attend schools that require this or I will get an exemption. I often worry about the affects that these vaccinations may have on my children down the road. They are both currently very healthy. But I have read that these shots could have long term affects and may possibly contribute to many physical and mental disorders such as depression and anxiety. I am really not sure that a persons education level has everything to do with this. I followed the rules and did what I thought was the right thing to do. I thought I was protecting and helping my children. I questioned vaccinations when a good friend explained to me why her children were exempt ... one of her sons has autism. That's when I did my research and made a decision to stop all future vaccinations on my children. Most people are being misled and therefore are not aware of the dangers. I believe people are in the dark about this issue because the truth has not been publicized through the main stream for people to be able to make a conscious decision or to demand answers from our government.

Hi people,

I've wondered about higher education in women concerning health care too. I have a 61 year old lady friend who lives alone, and who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and was friendly with her for four years before she was diagnosed - and was a perfectly lovely and normal person. I have for very many years been a user of alternative medicine and natural health care products, and when my dear friend was diagnosed, her married 38 year old university-educated daughter 'took over' her care. She placed her mother on the 'standard drug' used for Alzheimer's, steadfastly refusing to even try natural health care or alternative medicine at all. We had strong words about it, but to no avail. I begged and pleaded with her to TRY a natural medicine, but she rudely ignored me altogether.

I recommended she try a well-known natural product that is sold via multi-level marketing, and she refused outright merely because it is sold on multi-level marketing!! and for no other reason. I was dumb- struck, more especially because I recommended it since I use it myself for my angina, arthritis and allergies - with excellent results, and further, Alzheimer's is one of the diseases for which a high level of relief is offered.

I have been seeing my dear little friend for over five years now, and see her every day for about two to three hours (she has a son living with her now) and I sadly watch her mental processes slowly deteriorate, and her attention span diminishing to a mere two or three minutes. I love this little woman dearly, and she loves me too, and I tell her I do every day. I act as a personal care-giver to her which I love doing. Although I am married, my wife totally supports me in my care-giving.

The problem seems to be that universities teach wonderful subjects without teaching their students how to think about and use what they have been taught. Having a degree seems to be a substitute for brain power, it appears.

After my firstborn son became a victim to the socialized autism epidemic from immunizations, I have refused to give any more of my children as human sacrifices to ignorance. When my wife insists about vaccinations, I say she must study the issue before making any decisions that can harm our children.

People who insist on immunization have not done due diligence, or they would be against it. The irony, of course, is that people who are in the mainstream, who insist everyone should be inoculated with harmful toxins, think those who oppose their view are uninformed. Those who study the issue out soon realize that vaccines are potentially dangerous, compromising to the Immune system, and mind-altering.

Another factor is that people with lower incomes tend to be on Medicaid and I am not sure about other states but in Missouri, parents with children on medicaid are almost forced into getting their children vacccinated, or having them taken away.

It certainly is a scarey thought to consider what the pharmaceutical industry may in all likelyhood be doing by way of the mass vaccination of our children. If it is true that these substances are the cause of so many serious, yet seemingly unrelated illnesses down the road amongst those who were vaccinated as children, ... that would be perhaps the most evil corporate profiiteering act imaginable. .. One would hope that this is more likely a product of ignorance and greed rather than evil conspiracy.
