As Dr. Mercola has point out "organic" is NO assurance of any quality standard!!!

There have been major SCAMS, not only in the main stream grocery or super market food business, but throughout the so called natural and health food business, diluting the term "organic", to this very day!

Where there is profit to be made, and virtually no policing of laws or labeling on the books, you can be assured the crooks are operating.

Even the self appointed organic certifiers, with no legislative or true oversight, vary in empirical standards and conduct (a great deal is money for a piece of certification paper and backed up with no standards of quality or safety).

So how does one make sure the organic veggies, beef, poultry, eggs, fish, dairy, fruit, processed packaged goods, etc. are indeed void of residual chemicals, pesticides, genetic modification, irradiation, are grown in clean soil, and are microbial or bacteriological hazard free, or organic fertilization free, etc.?

Whenever possible (and this easier to do in places like California) purchase at local farmer's markets where you can talk directly to the grower, or grow your own, and purchase antique varietals with more flavor and nutrition, but less shelf life.

Another good indicator if the product is made to a higher quality (and hence a safer nutritional standard) is also PRICE. Quality is long remembered after price is long forgotten. An organic honey only a few pennies above the mass produced 'natural' label (which is force fed HFCS in 24-7-365 lit hives) would tend to indicate indeed that honey is NOT truly organic.

As soon as one organic con labling brand is exposed, the crooks are on to spin another one.

And if you think the FDA is policing this, think again.

Sugar, white and refined grain breads and refined food product sales are declining as well.

And…more people have sworn off pharmacuetical drugs, and are going the natural healing route with their health…

You don't suppose…?…No, it must just be a coincidence.

Of course big pharma will try to assume all the credit with all their "wonder drugs".
