According to Dr. Hamer's findings, all diseases originate in the phyche and they run in two phases; a conflict active (cold), or CA phase and a conflict resolved, post-conflictolytic (hot), or PCL phase.
When there is a sudden and unexpected shock experience, catching the individual on the 'wrong foot' so to speak, the conflict relevant area of the brain receives an impact, which is visible on a CT scan and is called a Dirk Hamer Syndrome, or DHS for short. It consists of concentric rings and indicates an 'overload' condition. This, in turn, causes either a tumour growth or an ulceration or nercosis, depending on which germ layer the effected brain area is part of. In the case of Parkinson's Disease, which is a cancer equivalent disease, the biological conflict is caused, by a sudden realization of "uselessness", as is common in people, that suddenly find themselves 'sidelined' from a job or any other activity they pursued with all their attention and vigor. Pakinson's actually is in the PCL, or healing phase most of the 24 hours of the day, however, it goes into the CA phase sometime during the night's sleep and therefore does not get healed. The answer would be to encourage the afflicted individual to come to terms with his dilema and tell himself, that there are still things he can be very useful in doing and help him find meaningful activity, which fosters his wellness.
The apparent reason for the shaking, primarily of the hands, is to keep confirming the original 'feeling' as being correct!
Basically, this is a 'looping' situation, where only gentle and meaningful therapy of the psyche is the way out.

I find it disturbing, and unbelievably maddening that nobody has mentioned the connection between these neurological disorders and Lyme disease!

I was diagnosed with MS five years ago (at a VERY famous US hospital), took expensive, injectable drugs, was treated with steroids when I had a relapse, and had what I now know was chronic fatigue. I also had "brain fog", and lost interest in many of the things I loved doing. I was in what I call a "walking coma", and didn't realize it until I started feeling better.

I was fed up with the treatments, and started looking for something more natural --- after all, God made my body out of natural, organic material, not synthetic drugs. Along the way of my search, I changed many of my eating habits, and someone told me to get tested for Lyme Disease. However, they also warned me to not get the conventional tests (Eliza and Western Blot), rather get the QRib from Bowen Labs. And guess what? I have Lyme.

Yes, I believe nutrition, heavy metals, and other factors like that contributed to the demise of my health, but Lyme Disease was at the core. After 1 month of two different antibiotics, and several months of using a "zapper", I feel like I did more than five years ago!

I have to mention, before I was tested, I didn't believe I had LD. I don't recall ever having a tick on me, or getting the "bull's eye" rash, or fever which usually accompanies Lyme. Apparently it is possible to get it from mosquitoes.

I am hoping to see this subject get more attention, because five years of my life were spent -- needlessly wasted in a chronic fatigue, etc. prison. Why aren't the so-called "brain doctors" using their brains and testing people for viruses like LD when they suspect MS and Parkinson's, etc?!

Hard on the heels of this startling neurological data, comes the announcement this week that 1 in 150 children have Autism. And the researchers can't understand why, like MS, Autism has a geographic linkage. Why do so many kids in New Jersy have autism? The several thousand people on our Lyme Disease e-group know the answer to this question. While there are lots of factors contributing to the massive epidemic of Lyme Disease, there is no doubt in my mind that this is the primary cause of this data. Senate Document 264, published in 1936, only 71 years ago, told us what to expect as a result of continued depletion of our soils. At the time they were not aware that we would be processing out of our foods, what little nutition was there at the beginning. At that time, I'm sure they had no idea what else we would be doing to our environment. It's amazing that we're doing as well as we are.

Does anyone remember the naturopathic Dr. Joel Wallach (50% sure right spelling of his name). He sold the seminar tapes "Dead Doctors Don't Lie", and "Good Doctor, Bad Doctor", and maybe others. He claimed that low cholesterol diets are causing Alzheimer's Disease. He supported that partly by pointing out that the myelin sheath surrounding neurons is manufactured by the body from cholesterol. He also claimed that the levels deemed as "high" blood cholesterol are set too low, so low that "normal" (according to the AMA) cholesterol will result in neurological degeneration. Add to that the increasing use of cholesterol lowering drugs. Could it be that the continued lowering of such a key body constituent, which is also needed to manufacture hormones, is at the root of the increase in some neuropathologies, such as AD, and perhaps other pathologies as well?
Also, since the brain is 60% or more fat, how about low fat diets being at the root of this? Or the combination of low-fat, low cholesterol diets?
I'd like to hear some opinions on this. Thanks, Duane

A great resource for "neurological" disorders is Tom Warren's "Beating Alzheimer's." Warren writes that Alzheimer's is an autoimmune disorder and that even those genetically predisposed to Alzheimer's can reverse it through nutrition, dental revision and removal of environmental toxins. Warren details his healing himself of this "uncurable" disease. Subtitled "A Step Towards Unlocking the Mysteries of Brain Diseases," it's also a fascinating read.

I remember when I was in nursing school we were told that chemical exposure contributed to Parkinson's disease and the the measles vaccination might contribute to MS. We never even heard of Alzheimers and now it is 6.7% of the population.

Such neurological disease and disorder is found throughout DAILY exposure to polymers (plastics), inks, dyes and color agents, radiation (microwaves), water (fluorinated and chlorinated with heavy metals), synthetic compounds, food, beverage, cosmetics, dry cleaning, fuel, heat sources, cooling sources, clothing, air, pharmaceutical, flavor systems, to name but a FEW.

How does one counter act it?

Limit exposure as much is as humanly possible to likely sources and consume clean and proven sources, that assist or counteract with regiments of anti-oxidative plant bases/sterols/nutrient intake (preferably truly organic and microbiologically and bacteriologically clean).

Let The Buyer Beware, because the so-called regulatory agencies are either overwhelmed, or NOT doing their job.

There are some schools of thought that Parkinson's disease (PD) comes from years of chronic dehydration.
There are schools of thought out there that say it is the result of heavy metal toxicity, especially aluminum (products, industrial products, rain).
There are some schools of thought that altered amino acid function or levels, as well as NT are the cause. One AA is AANB (alpha-amino-N-butyric acid) and it has been shown to be low in people with PD. AANB is a metabolite of threonine, which req B6 and ketoglutaric acid for complete oxidation. Another one is Phosphoserine (metabolite of serine which req B6, folate and Mn), which has been shown to be low in people with PD (shown to have difficulty of neutral and basic amino acids across the blood brain barrier). Another one is Sarcosine, which is shown to be elevated in PD patients.
The western school of thought is decreased dopamine production in the brain. Parkinson's disease (PD) is believed to be caused by a deficiency of dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter, a chemical messenger between nerve cells in the mammalian brain.
There are other schools of thought that believe that it is the cause of lesions in the basil ganglia due a chronic parasitic infection that has not been attended to.
TCM beleives that this is a liver wind condition that acupuncture, tui na, gau sha and herbs can help to releive.

While this is probably caused by a combination of factors,... one can't but help wonder how much of this is a result of immunizations that were recieved by the present population in it's early years of age.
