To the point where I won't even get behind the wheel of a car and drive. Sometimes it's followed by an odd sort of headache that usually doesn't go away until I've taken a nap. I can't use it.

I have received information that in Brazil drinking Coca Cola after consuming mentol sweets(candies?) it caused death! Do you or someone else have information about this and is it known in USA? I am in Europe and received this information on email from a gementleman who could not get confirmation of this information.Thank you . After 10 days I had the twitching
in my right eyelid that lasted for 4 days straight without
me feeling more tired. I barely eve had that. So after
reading the article on diagnosis of MS etc form artificial
sweeteners I stopped the diet and drank water for a day.
During that day the twitching stopped..

Anyway, I was still on the regular pepsi when last summer
someone introduced me to a new technology. It's a company
that produces patches (non-trans-dermal) that you put on
some acupuncture points. They then tell your cells to burn
a bit more fat than sugar to produce ATP.

I stopped Pepsi and started wearing the patches every
other day as indicated. After 48hours when my headache
subsided I was no longer slugish after lunch, and felt like
I could still do something at night after work.

Last year the pacers wore them and Sam Cassel and
Shaq do to. It's a very natural product. It helps me when
ride my bike and being in Newbury Park I've seen
Riders from the AMGEN bike team wear them, although
i could never keep up to talk to them.

They're availabe from this guy locally: www.nopainmogain.com
I'd like to see Dr Mercola test and review them since for me
they're like doing EFT and on an ongoing basis.

Hope to see a comment form the big M on them soon.

Warmest Regards from SoCal.

Art LaGrange
PS: anyone riding mountain bikes in the Conejo Valley,
please contact me for a ride: Art_LaGrange{at}yahoo dot com

re: Are You Overdosing on Caffeine With Energy Drinks?

A relative of my girlfriend just died a couple of months ago from over-exhaustion and Red Bull.

It saddens me that people take the dangers of caffeine as a joke when people are losing their lives.

re: Are You Overdosing on Caffeine With Energy Drinks?

I used to be hooked on caffeine, drinking 3 or 4 cups of coffee a day.
Until I realized it was increasing my stress levels at work.
I quit about a year ago and I don't miss it a bit.

I believe stress is probably the number one contributor to many chronic health problems.
So, adding to stress levels is bad news for health.

re: Are You Overdosing on Caffeine With Energy Drinks?

The energy drink issue is huge since so many young people are being indoctrinated into the habit. The reason why the problem is out of control is because the traditional medical establishment cannot do much to remedy energy problems as their approach is not holistic--and often leads to more devitalization of the body. If all people worked with a quality holistic practitioner, however, the energy drink business would go bankrupt overnight.
Savana
Find a Holistic Health Practitioner
www.holisticwellness.com

re: Are You Overdosing on Caffeine With Energy Drinks?

Why aren't we exposing the CEO's and management of these companies that are putting this crap on the market for monetary gain? How come ABC 20/20, Dateline or other mainstream media are not questioning this? I know the advertising on those channels has a lot to do with this, but someone should find these bastards in the parking lot and shove a camera in their face to make them face the nation to explain why would they do this, on purpose! There are more rights in this country for these idiots and criminals who are slowly killing the population because they are a Fortune 1000 company making a terrible product than for me who wants to discipline my kid in public or wife who wants to breast feed in public. Stop the insanity!

re: Are You Overdosing on Caffeine With Energy Drinks?

These drinks are a scam to get people to keep coming back. Americans are so tired, that they actually need this stuff to live. When you eat sugar, gluten, etc your body releases opiates. Then when you stop drinking this crap, you body craves it and you need more.

Sugar inhibits the immune system and we wonder why America is so ill?

My recommendations:
1. Water is the only thing our body was designed to drink
2. If it has an ingredient that you cannot pronounce, don't drink it
3. If it is the same color as a highlighter, don't drink it
4. If it was not here 10K years ago, don't drink it

re: Are You Overdosing on Caffeine With Energy Drinks?

Tsk, tsk, shame, shame.
