Dr Mercola,

I am a soon to be graduate in Naturopathic Nutrition, currently reading Kevin Trudeau's book. He mentions you a few times in his book. I have always been a person to learn by that which is quantifyable through my own research and I have to say, the room he has provided a door into, is quite concerning.

These baffling expedients are nonesense! An organization such as the Food and Drug Administration (why are Food and Drugs put together in an association when they have no relevance to the other anyway) puts its own welfare first in padding their pockets with the ever growing share value of the companies manufacturing these poisons. 900 kids in Maryland od'd on cough and cold medicines in 2004 alone!! Thats just ONE city Dr. Mercola!! I wonder how many od'd on heroine? The FDA chose then to ignore that FACT! What can we do?! How can we sit idly by and wait for an organization that does not care about our well being, only in what we can be convinced of, or to ignore for such a time that it is not longer profitable for them to continue then invest in another! How is it that we have come to a place in time that we must let a corrupt organization tell us what is safe for our children, and ourselves?! You must know another way for us to affect change at a faster rate. If not, the deterioration of our health will continue faster than the time it will take to educate people on the steps they NEED to take for both themselves and their children to give the best chance they have at long term health.

We must affect change faster than what is happening sir, or we will continue to be at the mercy of the few who see the general public as nothing more than expendable sources of wealth who only need to keep being told that "we (the FDA) are the final word on healthcare. what we tell you is the truth". Which is a lie!
