To the point where I won't even get behind the wheel of a car and drive. Sometimes it's followed by an odd sort of headache that usually doesn't go away until I've taken a nap.

I can't use it.

re: More Ways Teflon Can Harm Your Baby

After reading about my "cookware" I am once again discouraged.I use visions cookware(glass) and for frying I use my cast iron skillets. I am not sure what to do now. I think that I have more questions than answers now. Here are the two that stick out the most. On the website we are shown this beautiful cookware, but the inside of the skillet still looks like cast iron- Is is treated with enamel? The other question is this- Does my "visions" cookware have lead in it. Actually here is another good one-I also have stoneware from Pampered Chef. Is this a good option. I have a large family ( there are 7 of us) and the size of this cookware wouldn't even be close to what i need to make a large family-size meal. Could someone help me :(

re: More Ways Teflon Can Harm Your Baby

What I find particularly egregious about the continued sale of Teflon is the peddling and continued use of this product by prominent chefs on television. This is just another reason why television, as well as Teflon, can be harmful to the health of America. I avoid all non-stick pots and pans regularly, and particularly while I was pregnant. My baby has been the epitome of health and he is now considered to be in 100th percentile in his weight and length. I know other mothers who work hard to stay healthy and chemical free and have experienced the same growth in their babies. Perhaps the national averages are lower than they should be because mothers regularly expose their fetuses and babies to harmful substances such as Teflon.

re: More Ways Teflon Can Harm Your Baby

When I cook I use iron skillets or my cast iron dutch oven. I can make just about anything in it. For my baking I use glass, ceramic, or stoneware. I got rid of all my aluminum too.
