Duane, the fact is that on the genetic level, these animals are being altered as a result of those shots. People are consuming this altered organic matter, which is then absorbed into our bodies, and that altered organic matter is combining with our genetic material, which is then changing our genetic make up.

Please tell me Duane, do any of these "tests" look at genetic markers to see what's been turned on, turned off, blocked, or bound?

Hey Doc and everyone.

Take a look at this. There is actually a McDonalds game where you have to put fertelizer down on the field, inject cows with hormones and go through the whole process of how fast food gets to Mcdonalds stores.

It's meant to be educational. My g/f tried it and she kept bankrupting the company because she would not put the fertelizer down nor inject the cows with hormones. How SICK and unbelieveable is that???

I still don't believe for a minute that giving animals hormones and antibiotics are safe for our consumption. If they are, then why can't we export our meat to other nations? No one buys our meat except third world countries. Europe, I heard banned antibiotics and hormones for their cattle. They would not have banned them if they were good and healthy for their people to consume. We in America are the worlds guinea pigs, isn't it obvious that something is really wrong with our health when we spend more money on sick care than any other country in the world? It can only be what we are consuming. As always follow the money trail........

Antibiotics and pesticides tend to accumulate in fat cells because they have such a slow turnover. Duane, does the washout period allow for this? Red blood cells turn over every 3 months and they are considered fast turnover cells.

However, I think there are bigger issues to deal with than potential residues in meat. What about the vast quantity of synthetic drug metabolites that are currently building up in the environment. These metabolites are often the “active” form of the drug. The parent drug – for example a cholesterol lowering drug – does not have any effect until it has been processed through the liver. There it is broken down into metabolites which have the actual cholesterol-lowering effect. When they are excreted they enter the water supply and probably do not get broken down any further! How can they? They are synthetic, there are no natural “clean-up” organisms to deal with them like they do with natural waste. If you live in an area that recycles its water then you are ingesting other peoples’ drugs – bleuch!. As time goes on and people continue to insist on using these toxic, useless drugs these metabolites will accumulate and the dosage will increase. In NZ we don’t recycle tap water (yet) but raw sewage is discharged into the sea in many places (and we are supposed to be so “clean and green”), where it can enter the food chain – another reason to avoid fish perhaps.

The Onion, or FDA, FAILED to mention there is also a much higher probability of BSE (mad cow) in consuming regular or under cooked burger products...but don't worry, the ingestee who get the disease will never realize it ,until it's way too late...kind of like the advantage of Alzheimer's, you are always meeting new friends, and can hide your own Easter Eggs.

In Burger King patties they use silicon dioxide (sand) as moisture inhibitor to prevent ice formation and hygroscopic pick up of moisture, when the patties are flash frozen, prior to "flame broiling" (for that extra flavor of cancer causing carbon)...you can "have it your way" except for the sand and grit...

Oh, and let's not forget the fake fibers, cellulose (saw dust), binders, modified food starches, sugars, and enzymes, etc, in the burger buns...

If we are going to have a positive effect on the food industry, we have to ensure what we are saying is in fact true. I take the liberty to re-post a comment from "talldrinkofwater1" under "10 Things Your Butcher Won't Tell You":

"As a past employee of a cattle feedlot where beef are fed grain to ready the animal for slaughter, I was on ground level in vaccinating and treating these animals. All vaccines, antibiotics, and growth hormones have withdrawl dates. Every person and operation that uses these substances keeps very close records of each animal and everything that they have recieved. All animals are generally way past this withdrawl date and those that have to be slaughtered before the withdrawl date never go into circulation for human consumption. The animals that recieve the vaccines, antibiotics and growth hormones are well past the withdrawl date and therefore their systems have processed and utilized them. These substances are not in their systems anymore, or they could not be used for human consumption, and therefore would not even hit the grocery store shelves."

We know feedlot cattle are grown in pathetic conditions, and that antibiotics are used to allow these pathetic conditions to continue, but we should not be saying that our food is loaded with antibiotics - that is not the issue. The issue is that our feedlot animals are loaded with antibiotics while they are growing.

And to those who are concerned about growth hormone (GH) in the food supply, all doctors know that growth hormone cannot be obtained by ingesting it - it is impossible. That is why GH has to be injected. It makes no sense to inject it just prior to slaughter, and the required washout period provides add'l margin, since GH is metabolized out of the animal. So GH in beef/milk is not making children grow faster. But it's use in feedlot cattle is still a problem.

Unfortunately, Americans really don't know what they are getting when they eat beef in a restaurant. Most beef is loaded with antibiotics & hormones. In addition, grain-fed beef (most of beef in America) sounds healthy, but is not. Before I understood this, I remember going into a fancy steak house and seeing 'corn-fed-beef' on the door and thinking, I'm eating healthy beef!

Dr. Mercola has done a good job of advancing the benefits of grass-fed-beef. But, sadly most of us are still confused and mis-informed.

By eating a diet rich in grass-fed-meats (be careful---some meat is sold as grass-fed and topped off with grain the last 3 months or so) you can be sure you are getting beneficial omega 3 fatty acids and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid).

Finally, if you have not seen the movie SuperSize Me, I suggest you see it tonight. You will never allow your kids to eat at McDonalds again.
