Bryan, I agree it should be illegal, however they will find other ways to pay off the MD's, kinda like traditional street drug lords/distributors.
On med school education, its all fine and dandy to promote medical well being and true health, but when patient after patient bitch and complain that all you do as an MD is rag on them for their unhealthy lifestyle instead of just giving them the meds like other MD's do, then you will have no choice but to Give-up and Give-in and then Get-tired of being a drug pusher or you will talk yourself out-of-business because you will get the bad reputation of being pro-health. You will be left with the few and the proud that respect your good way of thinking like the good people reading this and I'm not sure that will pay off your medical bills.
Maybe Dr.Mercola can add too this, but I don't see too many job postings for homeopathy MD's, natural practitioners or the like of Mercola's practice. It's a hard sell to get my best friend to a better MD! The public is slowly coming around, but its just not there yet beating down the Osteopaths/Homeopaths door.

The manufacturing companies are benefiting from tax write-offs on unused/unsold vaccines. If you make billions, then you need millions of tax write-offs. The government should see through this because they are losing out on tax income. They should limit the amount of overstock and write-offs as they do in the other industries.
It's good for the government to make more money, but maybe the vaccine is clouding their thought process. Fine line between making the manufacturers mad by not making too much or General Public mad for not having enough.
I think its funny when I talk to someone who just has to have their flu or vaccine shots and acts like I have the problem because I never get sick and don't get the shots. My 2 year old infant has never had a vaccine. She has only been sick once, intestinal bug that cleared in 1 day. When I do decide to give her anything it will be tetanus by itself in case she skins her knee, lands on a nail, whatever. The second one will hopefully be an oral polio, if I can find it, since that is how polio gets into your system, through the gut wall. This advice is coming from a personal friend Dr.Colthurst in England, whose grandfather invented the Typhoid vaccination.

Yet another pork barrel subsidy, no doubt lobbied for, by Big Pharma.

Big Pharma could care less if the vaccines are never used, they were paid for, before they shipped.

Any PR/Spin campaigns out there, like the Montel Williams one, about some bus tours giving away free drugs, is nothing more than fraction of pennies on promotional allowance budgets, versus massive windfall profits, that Big Pharma has already dialed in.

Vaccine programs are a subsidy, like the annual Farm Bill subsidies are to Big Agra Business, or tax credits are to Big Oil for "exploration"... In all three examples, YOU, the consumer, and tax payer, are being RIPPED OFF!!!

As to the comment about the mandatory vaccines in the military, no doubt ORDERED as part of the legitimization of this pork barrel Big Pharma subsidy in the first place, look no further than the ongoing corruption at Walter Reed... to those in the military, you do have an 'opt out' option - it's called a Court Martial, or dishonorable discharge, or stockade with hard labor, or firing squad, or street patrol (without proper body armor) in the Sunni Triangle.

While I am glad these vaccines were not used, meaning they did not harm people. What scared me about this article is one Dr was talking about giving a flu shot twice a year. But where is the money coming from to pay for these shots?

In my opinion an unused, "wasted" vaccine is a good one. I will not lament this situation at all, besides the money that is squandered I think throwing the vaccines out is best. Flu vaccines are so full of toxins like Thermisol that we must avoid them at all costs. In this case, though money is being badly misallocated, the public wins out....until the new vaccines are shipped in! My husband is in the military and so is forced to get the vaccines when they are available. Needless to say that everysingle serviceman he works with comes down with the flu right after having the shot. I never get it and NEVER go in for the vaccine, contrary to what my son's pediatrician recommends!!! Our health is ultimately our own resposibility, we must consider our actions in regards to this very carefully.
