I remember a 1950's comedy sketch where he is accosted by a stereotypical TV robber who is dressed in the usual horizontal long sleeved polo shirt, small billed cap cocked to one side, raccoon mask, and a revolver.

The intimidating tough guy points the gun at Jack and demands, "Your money, or your life!" There is a long pause as Jack strikes his trademark pose, one arm folded across his chest, the other with his palm meekly pressing on one facial cheek. His deadpan stare moves from the robber, to the camera, and then off in the distance. The impatient robber repeats his demand again saying: "I said…Your money , or your life!" Finally, after another long ponderous pause, Jack Benny removes the lone hand from his cheek, and while rolling his wrist in the air, responds by shouting out in an impatient frustration, and with a raised voice says matter of factly… "I'm thinking!"

Comics of his era were actually fun for the whole family. Their kind does not exist today.

re: Inspirational Love Story

Good advice and as Russ says impossible to improve upon. You just have to implement them in your life.

mmc88121

re: Inspirational Love Story

Sound advice in the 12 suggestions attached with this article!!! And very difficult, if not impossible, to improve upon.

If and when we each meet our Maker, it is my personal belief we will be asked only one question: Was you life lived well and for the benefit of others, or did you squander your God given talents in selfishness?

And if the latter is the answer currently, you still can change.

Go in peace, not pieces.

Uncle Russ
