Fox news reported last Weds or Thurs that her Dr. was under investigation. It was reported that there were 300 Rx's written to her, filled, and in her possession at the time of her death. That is terrible! Who is this Doctor?!?!?!? How can he do that?!?!? And they worry about people who like to use natural means to treat themself!

Perfect Crime. These highly toxic highly addictive RX meds are the perfect murder tool. How many health suppliments can kill a person in amounts that can be called a simple mistake by a jaded coroner? Does anyone die from a slip of the needle taking vitamin "C"? Does a hustler ever get criticised for letting his rich wife kill herself with "reckless" use of meds? Users of illegal drugs are even more vulnerable to being silenced by far worse criminals who face no suspicions in their deaths. Besides being guilty of "little murders" by flogging their poisons, they are probably responible as accessories to as many "big murders" as arms manufactures. Agatha Christie said "Give me a perfect poison and I commit the perfect crimer" or something like that. This is another huge coverup governments do for big money.

Can I just say that I think that every death matters and unless the woman was known on a personal level no one has the right to call her ‘Dumb’. It had only been a few weeks since the strange death of her son, the birth of her child, and problems with who was the biological father.

Celebrities have a lot to put up with from the media and the public. I feel so sorry for them having to wall themselves in for fear of their lives. Worrying about being kidnapped, stalkers, being robbed or worse. Never knowing if you’re loved for yourself or your money. Are you being followed by the media or some crazed gunman (Remember John Lennon)

My mother was prescribed (by her doctor) a well-known painkiller for five years, for headaches caused by the steroids that she was given for Temple Arteritis. The Arteritis was gone but she died due to ‘something’ destroying her insides. They tested her for everything two days before she died and could find nothing to blame except her colon (never caused her any problem before) and she was a smoker. When I suggested that it was the 8 pills a day that had rotted her insides, I was laughed at.

This is more common than we can imagine. My sister-in-laws' mother just died last week in a very similar manner. She was on a lot of prescription medication: forgot she had already taken her pain medication, accidentally took it again. By the time her husband came home from work, she had died. Too tragic!

I got sick of hearing about Anna Nichole after the first couple days. There are much more important things to fill the stupid tube than some dumb celebrity dying. Yes it was tragic, but it doesn't matter.

Dr. Mercola's mention of her name is the only valid, fruitful statement I've heard concerning her death. Leave it to Mercola to do what every national news organization couldn't.

Good things: It is going to bring some awareness to the overuse of RX meds and mixing meds without care into the medical community and society.

Bad things: It is sad that we have to have a death in order to focus on things such as this. Things such as this should never happen. the other sad thing is that she is just an example of what most Americans are taking and have no idea how it is and going to affect them. I am sure each day someone dies from the somewhat same scenario, but you never see that on TV.

While any preventable death is tragic. This one would not have made the news except for Anna's semi-celebrity status. I think it is a shame that as a country we pay more attention to who is dating whom, than to what is being done by our government.
