By no means should we let up on demanding more credibility from the traditional "drug" companies but we should demand just as much from nutritional supplements!

re: U.S. is #1 in Many Areas -- But Not in Health

All that
because, USA
are governed by the multinationals and doctors syndicates financing the only 2 mains
politicals parties. So, USA
is the only extremist right country into the world!

All other countries are social-democrats, center political country, not
extremist country governed by the multinationals! Extremism never pays socially.

And it will take a wild before corporation cannot finance political party in USA like the
way it is in all center moderate countries.

So USA
is still governed by the army suppliers so the money goes... into the army, not
into the health care.

Peace from Montreal

If I'm correct, Japan is still number one in longevity. I don't know how long that will last. Countries that pursue America's golden apple of commercial success will have to face the consequences of rampant consumerism. /// I've identified three reasons the Japanese still enjoy relatively good health (and there may be more): (1) Conservatism in food choices. They resist food from abroad and are suspicious of new fads. Traditionally, what they ate included a lot of raw or fermented items. They would shop for fresh produce daily. In the household, the matriarch would keep a strict eye on what her daughter-in-law was making for the family to eat. (2) Shame at seeming selfish. They hesitate to overeat. Calorie restriction is enforced by shame from others in their group. (3) A well-established, traditional alternative health care system, which is widely used. Western medicine with its allopathic model is a latecomer, but has taken over as the main mode of treatment because it is covered by the national health insurance system. (People here are starting to recognize problems with it.)

re: U.S. is #1 in Many Areas But Not In Health

That America is the greatest country is easy to prove:

Look at the immigration statistics from all countries to America.

Look at the emigration statistics from America to those countries.

Now do this for all countries on the planet.

Do we have a peer?

Talk is talk, but people vote with their feet.

Duane

re: U.S. is #1 in Many Areas But Not In Health

Clearly what appears to be demonstrated in these statistics, is that the profit motive has bastardized America health care, into MANY competing factions:

Be it the ruthless death merchants in the pharmaceutical industry;

Be it the health care and life insurance insurance companies seeking to not pay;

Be it Big Food & Beverage cheapening & poisoning the food chain, while stripping it of all essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fiber, real needed levels of dietary intake, to increase their bottom lines;

Be it lawyers suing for malpractice &/or real or made up harm done;

Be it the reactive & obsolete model under which MD's are trained;

Be it hospitals that are over strained to the breaking point, or are already failing to treat or cure, unless one can afford the best coverage;

Be it state or federal governmental's efforts that never get it right (& will never clean up this MESS) because government never does solve anything, individuals do.

One need look no further than the corruption of Hillary Clinton's efforts, secretly & behind closed doors, during her husband's administration, with the bar association, planning on manipulating tort law to try to tip the scales in favor of their/her own pockets, though failed legislation, on behalf of the highest bidding lobbyists (which seems to be a pattern of ALL politically sponsored attempts).

The Solution? A preventative model, based on COMMON SENSE, no harsh drugs, with plant & botanically based (truly bioavailable with NO bad side effects) dietary supplementation, EFT, metabolic typing, & low impact exercise. This protocol WILL bring about positive change in American individual's practice toward their own optimum health.

"First, Do No Harm"!!!

"Physician (Or Patient) Heal Thy Self"!!!

re: U.S. is #1 in Many Areas But Not In Health

When we(US) lead, we dominate. First off on the health issues; 43 countries have more doctors than us? With all our pharma commercials you would think we would have the most doctors.

Now onto the other comparisons… Two countries have larger armed forces than we do. Germany has passed us in total exports, but we lead the way in exporting such garb as wheat, corn, soybeans, hides and cigarettes. We are also the largest importer and exporter of firearms, and radioactive materials.

We have the largest gold reserves worth 158 billion, but also the largest debt amounting to 8.6 trillion! This is crazy! America has the highest rate of incarceration in the world, and a very high violent crime rate. (Thanks again to prohibition)

You would think the US government would show the highest equality for women, but the figures reveal that we are 5th in the world. Check the article to see how we compare to Afghanistan’s government.. Finally our voting rates are very low, ranking at 139 out of 172 nations! Geez we need to get out and vote.

How could the greatest nation of the world fall behind in such areas? We have the highest number of Billionaires in the world... maybe greed and wealth have taken over our nation. It's time to put a stop to it, let your voice be heard, stand up for your rights.

re: U.S. is #1 in Many Areas But Not In Health

I thought it was interesting that Mongolia has more Doctors per capita than the U.S.A. I wonder if they are trained in the traditional methods or like our M.D.s in this country. I am not suprised that we are as low as we are on the list for health related problems. When doctors treat the symptoms and not the cause you end up with problems.

mmc88121
