Speaking as a Canadian I find the idea of a private bank (Federal Reserve) controlling your money, strange to say the least. Its bailout of B.M.&E.M. (which sounds like something from the Hillbillys) rewarding greed and incompetence sets a dangerous example.
   The so called War on Terror has embroiled Canada into a war which cannot be won, as any study of Afghan history will show. Ron Paul is your country's only hope of reducing the hatred that this illegal war has created.
   We also face challenges to our freedom with Bill-C51 & C50 which is before Parliament, I wish we had a politician of Ron Paul's integrity to fight for us here in Canada.
   We cannot understand the cover-ups and lack of investigation of 911(more money was spent on Clinton's peccadillo's) as this was the justification for this mess we now are embroiled in. Please vote for sanity and return to a paper ballot system that cannot be rigged. We live in dangerous times and need an informed populace who will demand a return to Democracy and Rights enshrined in your Constitution.
   The destruction of Iraq is a crime, not only against them but also the World as it was part of the cradle of Civilization,and the looting of her treasures is a crime against all of humanity. Remember "as ye sow so shall ye reap" hatred begets hatred.
    The greatest fear is fear itself,do not let them control you. Peace and love is the key.

How is it that such truth has become a novelty?

I sooo want to get the word out about Ron Paul, but it's like swimming against the tide. How does one help convert a niche candidate to mainstream?

Initially, I had Ron Paul as a friend on MySpace but when I began using MySpace to network, I figured that I'd better remove him so as not to polarize visitors...

So, I guess I'll have to post my own novel sign.

Ron Paul is just the sort of visionary this country has needed for decades! And instead of talking out of his sphincter like so many candidates (and politicians in general) do to appease the ignorant masses, his vocabulary contains a lot of words and phrases you don't hear from anyone else .

Who else wants to get rid of the IRS and Federal Reserve - the two biggest, oldest and most powerful (and corrupt) "Good Ol' Boy Clubs this country has ever known? No one but Ron!

I don't hear anyone talking so candidly about our broken healthcare system, illegal immigration, the war or ANYTHING else that really matters to the American people the way Ron does.

Some folks have indicated that Ron Paul winning the election is a big long shot. That may be true. Someone else said Americans LOVE underdogs. Our history certainly bears that out, no doubt.

But what I didn't see anyone say is that it IS very possible for him to win . But it is! I refer to the power of the very medium you are using right this instant - the internet!

Here are two sites that have made a huge impact on political initiatives, legislation and other things that we as citizens never had knowledge of or access to before, let alone a voice in:

Both of these sites allow you to FAX your congressmen, senators, etc. through an easy-to-use online interface. I personally FAXed a dozen or more times through NumbersUSA and had an impact on shutting down the piece of crap immigration bill the Senate was trying to ram down the throats of the American people. You can too !

In other words, YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE - EVERY DAY!

So, don't believe an Underdog can't win. The WILL of the American people STILL dictates the direction our country goes in!

The US government is not stealing your money, you are paying it voluntarily. There is no law the requires you to pay income tax - you do it voluntarily. The law was never passed! You don't believe it? Check it out! Nobody by now was able to name a valid law. The former president of the IRS called it "voluntary compliance". Aaron Russo made a nice movie on the topic.

Ron Paul definitely has my vote. I don't agree with everything that he says, but I admire that he stands on principles and values, knows that his job is to uphold the constitution and he has always had the same view. There is no flip flopping based on lobbyist money. Once elected, he will have an up-hill battle to get his ideas implemented. All of congress would have to agree to take their hands out of the tax payers pockets empty handed and to quit taking bribes and kick backs. I foresee a heck of a fight.

I've been reading a lot about Ron Paul over the past few weeks, and I really like what I see. He is a man of integrity who wants to give the government back to the American people. I have his website bookmarked and I am trying to get as much info as I can. I am on several yahoogroups and am starting to see a little Ron Paul activity. So far, most of my friends and acquaintances haven't heard of him, but when I talk about him, they want to learn more... So, I guess the campaign starts right here! I highly respect Dr. Mercola -- been reading his article for years -- but was hugely disappointed in his comment about Ron Paul: " ...he is running against huge odds and the likelihood of a victory are (sic) remote." Dr. M just told millions of readers to not bother voting for him when he's the best that's come along in a l-o-n-g time! Please read up on this guy and find out for yourself the type of reasonable, sound-thinking, experienced, knowledgeable, intelligent man Ron Paul is. He's been around the block in Washington, and absolutely stands on the Constitution. How refreshing! How desperately we need him in the "big boy" chair!

It has been stated, “We have an obligation to vote”. That is not correct. We have an obligation to vote knowledgeably and responsibly. I’m convinced less than 5% of Americans voting for president do so knowledgeably or responsibly. By ‘knowledgeably’ I mean knowing what criteria to follow to determine a candidate’s qualifications and value/worth to this country. That includes respect for our Constitution. Remember, members of Congress, the Executive and Judicial branches, take an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution. I know of no ‘knowledgeable’ voter that does not have a copy of the Constitution and its reference partner, ‘The Federalist Papers’. I’d also recommend a copy of ‘How to Read the Federalist’ as well. In regards to ‘responsibility’, most voters base their vote on what the candidate can do for them personally. Most have forgotten or haven’t ever heard the quote of former president Kennedy. “Ask not what your country can do for you (entitlements), but what you can do (patriotism) for your country.” I added the words “entitlements” and “patriotism” for clarification purposes.

Paul’s running (if he remains there) under the republican banner can be considered a risky tactical maneuver. Of any readily ‘visible’ or publicized candidate, and based on Constitutional principles, Paul is clearly the most capable/qualified candidate since Goldwater back in '64. However, and I won’t go into the reasons, what the media did to Goldwater, and for that matter Taft in '52, they will attempt to do to Paul. Make no mistake about it. To further, and complete their agenda, the ‘insiders’ can not afford to let a Constitutional patriot win the White House. It has stopped many others in similar circumstances, but will that stop you from voting for him? How principled are you?

Ron Paul is, without a doubt, the only candidate, running with an R or D, worthy of the position for which they seek.

The simple fact that he doesn't obey the party is why he will not get the nomination. Neither party will allow a candidate they can not control. The RNC will do to him what the DNC did to Dean.

This, by no means, should dissuade anyone from doing everything they can to help him. The only way to improve our lot is to get his/our message out. The only way for that message to get out is for him to run as a R (the media will not give him any coverage as an L) with as much support as can be mustered.

Only after that message gets out and people start waking up will there be any hope of someone like him being elected, eventually.

I would absolutely love to be proven wrong!

This will probably be the first time I ever participate in a primary!

OK folks, now we separate the girls from the women, time to put your money where your mouth is. The primaries are early-on in this race, if Ron Paul is to be a serious contender he needs money and lots of it. No special interest gorup will fund his caimpaign. We have to, and right now. Make a donation. Even if all you can afford if five or ten dollars, maybe you have 50, whatever you have, give it. Then start spreading to word. Tell everyone you know about Ron Paul.
