These benificial bacteria are the backbone of a strong immune system and guard against pathogens. Eating organic plants and meat replenishes these necessary probiotics that are lost from ingestion
of many things in our toxic environment including most pharmaceuticals(antibiotics), chloronated water, anti-bacterial soap, polluted air, etc. We evolved from soil micro-organisms. The mass of our bodies is mostly made of these non-human organisms. How could our health not depend on them.

re: Why Organic is Better For You Than Conventionally Grown Foods

By far, Organic or should I say "Certified Organic" is the best choice for a healthy lifestyle, over any conventional grown or produced product. I still find it quite shocking that people dont care to eat organic, namely because of its higher cost. What they should know is that they either pay now! or pay with their health later. Its simple really. Here is a great question I ask people who dont eat organic. I ask them to eat an organic apple, but before they do, I spray it with raid, then ask them to go ahead and eat it, of course the response is now NO WAY! then I offer to wash it, surprisingly about 90% of people will then eat it. Do they not know that the chemicals penetrate the skin of the apple and cannot be washed off! At least I get them thinking. Speaking of skin, be causious with what you do put on your skin. Nearly all conventional persaonal care products contain toxic chemicals that end up in your body and over time, will cause disease and illness. Only Life can produce Life. If the soil is alive it will feed us with wholesome food that will make as feel alive. If we kill the soil with chemicals, death and disease is what we'll get in return.
