Dr. Mercola........you have my complete support. The journalist who interviewed you were obviously deceptive and unconscious. It's situations like this that really motivate me to speak up even more. Thank you so much for taking the steps to truly heal this sick country. Keep doing what your doing. Someday we will triumph. We will be here much longer than those who think our medical system is on their side. Drink you pharmaceutical concocktions Fox, and you'll be way out front in the race of inflammation, disease, and death.

It's a shame that they chose to put you down like that even though I'm a Fox News fan. That's too bad when they aren't sick or in a position that would force them to think unconventionally. I had to suffer from allergies but suffered more from medications that never cured me. I have suffered from a back injury of my own doing that no pain killers, exercises or physical therapy could cure. I had headaches and rashes that medications only masked and never cured. How much did I have to pay until I got some relief from any of these conditions?! I love George W. Bush and am thankful that he's been our president but I blame no one for my health and I'm in charge of making myself as healthy as possible. I chose to take no medications for anything and I don't get sick anymore. I chose to listen to a friend and have been seeing a Chiropractor for my back for 10 years. I take nothing for allergies and do not suffer from poor sleep or restless leg anymore. I do not get headaches and am listening to your advise on raw foods and chewing my food, both like my family told me to do as a kid! I choose to listen to things like "cancer is a fungus". It's true and why do I have to listen to "conventional" medicine when they only want to make money and helping people is only prescribing meds. No more! Continue to put out the truth about so much wrong in this culture and more will see the benefits, I do.

ALL media attention is Good Media attention. Think like hollywood does. Lighten UP! No primetime advertising on "the most watched" news program is going to be free, so COPE with their style of programming. Cope with their spin! I don't think its a bad twist. You put a twist on everything at your site and we cope with it. My family are all surgeons and I take many of the prescriptions you bash and I manage to wade through it...so will your FOX viewers wade through many of the FOX reporter's comments. They know you didn't call yourself a 'guru' and many of the other extreme comments. Your research and intelligence and demeanor negate all of those fanatical claims...don't worry about it. It is possible that you had the reporter stressed and very worried about their health because they want to believe that they are doing the right things now themselves...but they are not...you are the voice of reason ...and the reporter was probably finding that out despite the scripting they were handed.

I think the mainstream media as a whole, not just Fox, has done hatchet jobs on many people. I've read or heard complaints like Mercola's from many persons who have done interviews and complained of how they were misrepresented. I think you have to be wary of almost all the news you hear. For instance, the health segments on NBC's Today Show drives me crazy, but that's just today's fads being presented as facts. I've lived long enough to know that much of it will change with time yet again. And, it's all relative to one's perspective, too. I enjoy Dr. Mercola's viewpoints, but my partner does indeed think he IS a quack. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's unfortunate about Dr. Mercola's interview, but it happens. I enjoy Dr. Mercola's news and I get it straight from him, not Fox or any other "news" source.

The timing of this interview (with it's offhanded criticisms of your comments on reducing cancer risk by sun exposure) is truly ironic in that just a few weeks ago, major newpapers were carrying a (long overdue) story about the "new found" importance of sun exposure for preventing cancers (and how the medical profession's recommendations to avoid sun exposure and always use sunscreen have potentially contributed to a rise in the incidence of some cancers). I felt fortunate that I have been reading about this issue for years on your (and other complementary medicine) websites. I applaud and admire the bravery and persistance of the many individuals like Dr. Mercola who are open to, and actively promoting nontraditional views in the health care field in spite of such ostracism. It's a long tough battle - reminiscent of the tremendous resistance and hostility to Dr. Semmelweis' position (with sound data to support it) in the late 1840s that handwashing prevented deaths from childbirth fever and other infections. He died in 1865 with his views still largely ridiculed. Even by the time of Louis Pasteur's germ theory later in that century, such a point of view was still being met with skepticism. It is so sad that such tremendous resistance to change has such a huge impact on the health of so many.

Fox News, which is widely known as Faux News Network, is driven by the same people who make sure Big Oil, Big Pharma, and Big Agriculture get the inside track on most congressional legislation. FNN has little or no interest in a factual, journalistic approach to issues.

The FNN style is best described as tabloid journalism, ie. anything to acquire an audience. Does it surprise you to learn the owner of FNN is none other than Rupert Murdoch, whose wife once threatened him with divorce if he published another naked cutie on the inside page of his London tabloid?

FNN is a spin factory for the Bush establishment and its camp followers (however they want to interpret that). Dr. Mercola, you have offended a public offender! Thank you!

I just read the interview with the FOX reporter. Not too surprising, but very sad. Sad that integrity is so lacking in the news world, but personally, I would not have expected anything else from FOX. Big Pharma has their fingerprints on most of the media, and it's no surprise that you and many others are not going to be their favorite people. They will gun you down (figuratively speaking) at every opportunity. For them, it's not how many people can be made well, it's how many people can be made ill, so that they will end up taking drugs which will in turn necessitate another drug and so on. Their livlihood depends on people being ill, not well.
For you, the experience was a lesson in survival as well as trust.
But I'm so very glad you are here. Thank you.

Personally, I am so disappointed to see how activated you've gotten over this whole Fox thing. I think you're putting way to much energy toward this. I've followed you almost since the beginning and I support you 100%, that's why I'm going take the liberty to say.... for your own sanity...you need to tap on this thing! Your face and your voice are scary on these videos. You are obviosly letting it get the best of you!! You should have known better than to let the main stream media get ahold of you. Don't let your ego ruin you!! You watched the Secret....you've studied Carol Tuttle.."What you focus on you create more of, right?". We need you!! The world needs you....so don't focus so much on the negatives of the pharma world etc....just keep giving us positive info. on how to lead healthier lives. I don't even watch the news!! I wouldn't even have known about this had you not posted it.

As much as I believe Dr. Mercola's spin on this story and that Fox distorted his words, I can't help but be reminded of his distortion of the facts with Stonyfield yogurt. I read on his site that this brand of yogurt was made with powdered milk and what a fraud it was as a "health food." I was so shocked and disturbed by this that I contacted the company to set the story straight. They assured me that to ensure consistency of their products, they add up to 5% powdered milk as a thickening agent and that their yougurt comes from liquid milk, NOT the powdered kind Dr. Mercola insinuated. I place a lot of faith in Dr. Mercola's views, but this showed me how even people motivated mostly by honesty can distort the facts too.

Comments. Let's see.....What were you thinking?!!!! Fox News "fair and balanced"?!

My uncle switchewd to Fox News once and I could only stomach about 15minutes of it before leaving the room. It was so blatantly slanted. And the interviewers make it even more sickening to watch.

I could have told you that it was the wrong forum for someone like you, Dr.Mercola. Someone telling the truth in a sea of liars will surely drown. I do give you credit for being so brave, however.

First, I want to thank the Mercola staff for even making it possible to view this interview with Fox. I did watch part 2 first because the links I tried before had errors and would not work for part 1. So I pretty much knew how the first part went. Fox News is my husband's favorite channel. :) lol. Needless to say, we argue about everything. I've learned so much about how to do better for myself and for us but if it does not come from TV sources, whatever I have tried to share with my husband falls on deaf ears. He will see something on TV about alternative, natural, nutritional approaches and come tell me about it and it would be something I told him two years ago. lol. I cannot convince him that big pharma and the food/dairy processing industry owns TV. Dr. Mercola cares. I don't need to see him on Fox News to know that but I appreciate his courage for being on it even though those people made it look less favorable for my favorite doctor. Just keep doing what you do. First let me say when treated properly, the human body is self healing. You know when you cut yourself, unless you pick at the wound, the body will heal the wound. Very much the same way our bodies will heal themselves. That means clean water, fresh air, proper amounts of sunshine, sleep at the proper time, exercise, and a well balanced vegan diet, and there is nothing the body cannot handle.

Problem is too many of us do not understand we are eating our way into our graves. We as humans were never made to devour animals as food, we were made to devour a good plant based diet.

In the meantime the drug companies at best are only offering to those of us who suffer illness, or disease, a crutch. Akin to going to the doctor for a broken leg, and only being given a pair of crutches, as treatment. The drug companies do not want this truth out, and having no ability to refute all the drug commercials, the general public never hears the other side. Very much like the Fool's Drug Administration, (FDA) wants to keep things this way. Keep the public in the dark. You know like the cigarette industry kept the public in the dark for more than 50 years. It is all about money. For instance the Diabetes industry earns 4 billion dollars a day, world wide.

America become proactive about your health, ask questions, research, and research more.

Dr. Mercola, I am so disappointed in your handling of this. I purchase allot of products from you and have respected your opinion on different subjects even if I have disagreed, but you blew the interview with fox way out of proportion. If I had seen it myself without your picking it a part I doubt I would have thought it painted you in such a bad light. I think you were over reacting. I also think you on acting unrealistic. I don't think there is a network out there that you would be given any better treatment since most of America is very Doctor and medicine oriented. So stick with nutrition and health and leave Fox bashing to the left wing politicians which is what they do best. I hope you have a change of heart otherwise I will have to find a more neutral place to buy & get my health needs taken care of. I get sick and tired of such negative political garbage being shoved in my face I don't want it here.
