She claims that&amp;nbsp;organic is&amp;nbsp;too expensive for most families, and also, if everyone decided tomorrow to go organic that the supply is not there, and hence factory farming is necessary to produce the quantities of food required by 7 billion people or so.&amp;nbsp;I have a hard time countering that argument, except that supply would respond to demand over time, and a lot more people would have to become farmers. In&amp;nbsp;my perfect world everyone would live within walking distance of a farm. Seems to me, 100 years ago or less, most people did live within walking distance of a farm and/or dairy and close to 50% of the workforce were farmers, according to census data.
