Analyzing Personality Traits By the Way You Sleep

I know this study is older than most I share with you here, but it's an interesting one that argues the position a person uses to get to sleep may tell you something important about their personality.

In fact, the Sleep Assessment Advisory Service has found six common positions, based on body language, may be linked to a specific personality type, according to a study of 1,000 patients.

The two most common sleep positions:

  • The fetus position was used by more than 40 percent of patients who were described as having a tough exterior but remaining very sensitive at heart.
  • Fifteen percent lie in the log position, with both arms at their sides. Their personalities are often easy-going and social, but they can be gullible too.

No matter what position you use to get there, it's important to get the right amount of sleep to protect your health. If you're having problems getting to sleep, before you take a worthless and potentially dangerous drug, please review my comprehensive Guide to a Good Night's Sleep.
