I was always suspicious of genetic nutritional testing and, even though I love new tech, I never embraced solutions like those described in New Scientist. The primary reason is that your genes are only part of the equation for health, and, realistically, not even the most important part of it.
The excitement is all about the regulation of your genes or your ability to express your genetic potential. I am a major fan of Dr. Bruce Lipton’s work.
He is a cellular biologist who has carefully documented how emotions are one of the most important factors here. He uncovers the physiology of the reason behind that whatever your focus your intention on long-term, you tend to manifest.
Your body doesn’t care whether it is positive or negative: It is neutral. Unfortunately, most people are clueless about this reality and tend to manifest overwhelmingly negative things in their life because they haven’t yet learned to address the underlying emotions involved with this.
Let me provide an example to illustrate how this relates to your genes. Many people have problems with “digesting" pasteurized milk. When milk is pasteurized, the lactase enzyme that is normally present is destroyed, so a person has to make the enzyme “lactase” to break the milk sugar down.
If they don’t, they will get loose stools or diarrhea. However, it is well documented that the ability to turn this gene on and off can be controlled by a person’s thoughts. Many have regained this ability with the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
Even more dramatic are the countless examples of people recovering from diseases that science could never explain. So the bottom line is not to invest one red cent in these tests, as they will serve no purpose except to limit your beliefs and impair your healing.
