Defrayed by targeted, relevant, unobtrusive ads on the back in 36-point bold Helvetica type, Gmail users have the funny option of receiving voluminous paper copies of their e-mails made from 96 percent post-consumer organic soybean sputum.

On a very serious note, Google has done much good for the world in transforming the way people use the Internet for even the simplest of things like e-mail and for fun too, and it's a great model I seek to emulate as often as possible.
