The Prince George's County school system is scrambling to beat a deadline that might bar 3,300 students from class who have no proof that they received state-mandated vaccinations.
Students have until Sept. 20 to show proof that they have received immunizations for chickenpox and hepatitis B or that they have an appointment to be vaccinated within 20 days. Otherwise they are barred from school.
