According to British Labour MP Mary Creagh, children who have not received all their vaccinations should not be allowed to start school.
Public confidence in vaccination, and in the MMR vaccine combination in particular, has fallen after research raised the possibility that the injection may be linked to an increased risk of autism.
Many parents have argued that Creagh’s proposed measure would take away their ability to make judgments regarding their children’s health.
