Can You Imagine Celebrating Fluoridation?

Just to show you just how crazy the state of conventional medicine truly is now, I thought you'd want to know about a "celebration" of sorts, sponsored by the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control happening in my home town next month: The National Fluoridation Symposium in Chicago, July 13-16 to mark the 60th anniversary of fluoridation.

According to a number of concerned health organizations and Dr. Paul Connett, who wrote an awesome piece on the slew of problems with fluoridation three years ago, the main objective of the symposium should be of great concern to you: *Promoting mandatory universal fluoridation throughout the country.

If you're the least bit skeptical about the dangers of fluoride, consider these facts:

  • Fluoride is more toxic than lead and is used as a pesticide for mice and rats.
  • Fluoride content in tap water isn't closely monitored and often contains high levels of carcinogens (think arsenic).
  • Its presence in drinking water and other sources -- like instant tea -- is associated with a number of health hazards, including cancer and osteoporosis.

If you're more curious about fluoride's harmful effects -- and you should be -- I urge you to review my page of extensive fluoride links.
