Better Nutrition Reverses Early Parkinson's Signs

You know how natural treatments, such as chiropractic and exercise, can do wonders to protect you from Parkinson's disease or reverse its onset. Lowering your calorie intake can boost the level of glutamates, essential brain chemicals lost in the early stages of Parkinson's, also reversing its damage in the early stages.

To study the effect of eating less food, researchers compared two groups of mice that had lost up to 75 percent of the dopamine in their brains, a tell-tale sign of early Parkinson's. One group had access to food every day, while the other was restricted to eating every other day.

The mice that ate less food dropped up to 15 percent of their body weight, normalizing their levels of glutamates and reducing the number of dopamine terminals in their tiny brains, signs that Parkinson's is on the wane.

Fact is, folks, the most effective means to retool your diet is to eat the right foods based on your body's unique nutritional type. I urge you to take my free nutritional typing test as a starting point. Be aware you'll have to fine-tune your diet over time, by paying close attention how your body reacts to the foods you eat.
