Finally - - FDA Agrees With Warnings I Have Been Sharing For Years!

After denying the deadly reach of antidepressants for far too long, a FDA advisory panel finally did the unthinkable, recommending even stronger safety warnings on such drugs. If approved, the current black box warnings would expand the risk of suicide to age 25.

These latest recommendations beyond age 18 came on the heels of a FDA review of 372 studies, including some 100,000 patients and 11 antidepressants (Paxil, Prozac, Lexapro, Zoloft). Based on these newer numbers, the risk of suicidal behaviors among children taking antidepressants could climb by as much as 14 per 1,000 and 4 per 1,000 in young adults between ages 18-24.

Evidently, the FDA finally got the hint after issuing a joint letter with GlaxoSmithKline to doctors earlier this year, warning them about the increased risk of suicidal behaviors among patients taking Paxil between ages 18-30.

No doubt, depression can cause more profound health problems than all the poor food choices, lack of exercise and the toxins to which we are exposed daily. That said, there's absolutely no need to take a dangerous that also harm your immune system and elevate your diabetes risks. Some safer, healthier options that have nothing to do with a drug:
