Good Diet Helps Radically Reduce Alzheimer's

A Mediterranean-style diet may be a strong weapon in the fight against Alzheimer's disease, according to new research.

People who ate a variety of nutrients specifically selected for brain health were shown to have a 40 percent lower risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.  Alzheimer's has no cure, so prevention is the most important means of beating the disease.

The nutrients associated with benefits included omega-3 fats, omega-6 fats, vitamin E, vitamin B12 and folate.
