Consumer electronics such as laptops, smartphones and iPads are shining bright light into people’s eyes until just moments before they try to go to sleep. There is concern that these devices may actually fool your brain into believing it's still daytime.

Exposure to bright gadgets can disturb sleep patterns and exacerbate insomnia.
