Men are Less Healthy than Women, and Have a Shorter Life Span

Men tend to take poor care of their health. The dislike going to the doctor, and ignore warning signs for major health issues.

According to U.S. government statistics, this means that:

  • One in five U.S. men has heart disease
  • One in three U.S. men has high blood pressure
  • Three in four U.S. men are overweight

According to USA Today:

"Men overall are less healthy and have a shorter life span than women ... And more than half of all premature deaths among men are preventable ... The main way men can improve the length and quality of their lives ... is to start taking a personal interest in their health."
