Poo Hazard?... Maybe coronavirus (or that 'genetic material') was there from the beginning of the world. They found something else to scare the world with... Soon they will force us defecate in bags and take them with us all the time (?)

I think this depends on concentration in the aerosol. I am not going to worry about flushing the toilet and I am certainly not going to put the lid down when I do. It seems to me, that, if this truly is a problem, which I doubt, that the lid would become seriously contaminated before too many flushes. How close to the toilet would your head have to be? Short of a hangover, this should not be a problem.

I think people are getting a bit nutty about some of this. Now, it may be different if you are changing children's or adult diapers, but I assume that most people doing that are smart enough to practice good hygiene. It would seem unnatural not to.
