Take The Train. Like Almond mentioned ...I am not allowed to fly, I won't look it up but I thought that rule went in to effect last October.I will not get the chipped driver licensee. so I am though, allowed to fly out of my state. However I can not fly back in. It could be the rule goes into effect state by state. I should not have to buy a passport unless I go out of the country. So I refuse to buy a passport just to fly to the state next door.

I have already decided that if masks are mandated, I will be driving to my destinations and just not considering vacations that require a flight. Did the airlines ever consider that there is a percentage of people that want to wear masks but there is also a percentage of people that don’t want to wear masks?

That sounds to me that at best, maybe 50/50. The airlines are already suffering financially and are setting themselves up for additional diminished revenue. I think that more logically, if a person feels compromised they should wear a mask. I feel our right are being eroded and there needs to be push back!

By October, you will not be allowed on an airplane without an enhanced (chipped) ID such as an enhanced driver's license or enhanced passport. I was fortunate... due to C-19, I was mailed a new drivers license when my 4-year old license expired. It has my old picture on it and is good for 6 years. i will not convert it to a new license as I do not want an enhanced license. At my age, it is nice to get a license good for 6 years without further testing.
