So tight is that grip, it's taken for granted we can purchase insurance to obtain that medical care for a monthly payment exceeding the income of many back in the fifties and sixties.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to see insurance plans pop up that focuses more on natural, with allowances for procedures that made sense, like setting broken bones and such.

If it came to be such an industry started growing [and survived the con of the lobbyists and frivolous suits], we'd also see more testing done on natural and inexpensive cures.

This reminds me of my interactions with one brilliant and gifted doctor who was very open-minded. if I told her I was very uncomfortable with an approach she suggested, she would say that is ok because nature offers many alternatives. Rarely is there only one way of doing things. We would discuss whatever the issue was and agree on a regimen I considered compatible with my situation.

People go around looking for a single magic bullet, not realizing they are surrounded by many diverse options and solutions. The first step is opening our minds to research and actually seeing what is available. Taking inventory of what is available and easily accessible.

It reminds me of a description a friend made. She said most people are like toddlers siting under a buffet table and crying because no one will feed them when all they need to do is stand up and help themselves tot the bounty. How often are we like that 3-year old, abrogating our individual responsibility to care for our health and constantly running to a doctor for standard medicine "to cure" some opportunistic condition we have imposed upon ourselves?

Health and healing are the natural order of things... although you sometimes need to support and direct the actions of the body. This requires basic understanding of physiological processes. For example, if you want a broken bone to heal well, it must be set properly.
